Rapid Development Services. developed new technology that allows operators to enter dimensions of box sizes into the touch screen display. The system automatically programs itself to palletize the new box size. This system is capable of handling box sizes from 6 x 6 x 10 to 16 x 16 x 24 inches. Even tall unstable boxes are palletized in multiple layers on a pallet. The boxed are securely help together through the transfer conveyors, and finally through shrink wrapping before being released to a fork lift operator. The robots end of arm tooling are capable of handling all size boxes, picking and placing slip sheets, and securing the pallets while being transferred through the system.
